The MCL Great Pee Dee Devil Dogs are proud to present their 1st Annual 5k or 1 Mile/Fun Run or Walk on the Runway fund raising event.
The Great Pee Dee Devil Dogs of The Marine Corps League Detachment 1219 are hosting their inaugural Tri-County 5k or 1 Mile Fun Run or Walk-on-the-Runway. The race will be at the Darlington County Airport, 313 Graham Seager Parkway, Darlington, SC on April 9, 2016, at 9:00 am. The race check in time to pick up packets will be 8:00 to 8:45 am. The 5K race will begin at 9:00 am and the 1mile Fun run/walk at 9:05 am. The Race will be Rain or Shine! Awards for the 5K only! T-Shirts will go to all participants who register before 31 March 2016. We plan to have over 200 registered participants with this unique location. This event will be advertised in papers throughout the tri-county region and flyers will be posted in many establishments and businesses. The proceeds of the event will be for the Detachment’s scholarship fund for high school graduates to ease their financial burden at colleges of their choice.
